The 应用数学 curriculum is designed to be customizable based on your specific career goals and interests. This customization comes in the form of four unique interdisciplinary tracks:

化学追踪: develop your mathematics skills as they pertain to the different fields of chemistry
计算机科学方向: take your mathematics further into the fields of data science, 编程, 信息技术
金融/保险精算的跟踪: enter the fields of financial management, economics, finance, and more

应用数学 to Your Unique Interests

“I majored in applied mathematics and have minors in economics and data science and analytics, and this combination is helping me do some really unique 研究 on women in Latin America. As part of a project for the 荣誉项目, I’ll be examining macro- versus micro-economies and creating a compartmentalized model of how government funding is being deployed and how it could be deployed more effectively. I plan to look at data like birth rates and school attendance and create equations based on those parameters.”
